Teaching Artists needed to submit Proposals

Hey My People,
I am putting together a series of workshops to be held at MoAD, and I want to give you all first dibs on submitting a proposal. The basic idea is that you will teach a workshop, either a 1 day, 2 day, or 3 day project which connects to art of the African Diaspora. An example is to create shekeres.

How to submit a proposal:
Email me at dbroxton@moadsf.org with your proposal.

Here's a generic example:

Title: Patterns, Lines and Textures: Mixed Up Materials
Dates: Saturdays, December 6, 13, 20
Times: 1 - 4 pm

Description:
Some artists are known for pulling together a variety of materials to create unique designs. This class will visit the MoAD galleries in search of a variety of materials African and African American artists use to make art. Then the participants will use their creative skills to make their own "mixed up" works of art using paint, handmade paper and other natural materials.
_________________________________________________________________________
Artists will be paid $30/hour for each workshop taught, including one hour of prep time. Workshops will only happen if we receive a minimum enrollment, so you will need to make the workshop exciting, as well as, assist in the marketing of your program.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
