Profile Information

Who is your favorite Black artist and why.
Milton Holmes -- I've literally seen Milton's work mature throughout the 30 years I've known him. He is long pass due recognition. His skillful use of pen and ink captures the essence of his subjects effortlessly rendering emotion and thought.
About Me:
My medium has not been defined; although I would say I am partial to 3 dimensions. I like the hard and the soft--ceramics and textile structures. I have not decided what suits me best and still have many more areas to tackle. My art is an ongoing exploration.

The Art of Living Black is over 100 artists who present their work at a non-juried gallery. It is one of the largest gathering of African American Artists in Bay Area at the Richmond Art Center in Richmond, CA. TAOLB has well-established and emerging artists coming together to meet, network, and sell art to their clients.
