- Who is your favorite Black artist and why.
- Charles Dickson, a sculptist who focuses on African women as well as the African culture. I recently had the pleasure of visiting his personal studio and the "Stool of Knowledge" he created totally blew my mind away. There is no limit to the story he tells. Other favorites include, Dawn Okoro, Mo, Jonathan Green for his use of vivid color, and the list goes on. I can't forget the remarkable work of Demitri Santiago-Broxton.

- Abstract artist who primarily focuses on color as a way of expression and story telling. In 2007, I made it my business to represent emerging artist in the Los Angeles area. In 2008, I'm making it my business to provide a creative place for the children in the Los Angeles community. A place where they can freely express themselves without having to worry about drawing outside of the lines.
