Charles Dickson, a sculptist who focuses on African women as well as the African culture. I recently had the pleasure of visiting his personal studio and the "Stool of Knowledge" he created totally blew my mind away. There is no limit to the story he tells. Other favorites include, Dawn Okoro, Mo, Jonathan Green for his use of vivid color, and the list goes on. I can't forget the remarkable work of Demitri Santiago-Broxton.
About Me:
Abstract artist who primarily focuses on color as a way of expression and story telling. In 2007, I made it my business to represent emerging artist in the Los Angeles area. In 2008, I'm making it my business to provide a creative place for the children in the Los Angeles community. A place where they can freely express themselves without having to worry about drawing outside of the lines.
i just took a deep breath and settled in to watching the photo slide show of your wonderful paintings. i love the way you use color and the graceful flow of the swirls in some of your paintings. the blue, yellow and black painting which looks like water and sunlight and earth to me.... all one combined.... this one is my favorite. i think what you are doing for children in la is wonderful. let me know how it is going. peace and love, ananda

Thank you for looking at my work. I was looking at your page and was very excited about your project with the nchildren. In the old days before prop 13 those kind of art programs were supported by the government. I remember going to museums and libraries that offered constructive creative art programs for children for free. Those programs kept me alive literally. You have a wonderful spirit in helping put into place the kind of support that I think is so important ijn correcting some of the things that are so wrong today.

I love the imagery, colors, and business aspect of your work. The business side is truly an artistry.
