- Who is your favorite Black artist and why.
- I love Gordon Parks because he showed us how to capture raw energy. His work absolutely moves me! I also love Aaron Mcgruder his work is AMAZING and he cracks me the hell up!!! Milbert Orlando Brown produced some beautiful images. I always feel like I can relate to his work personally. Tyrone Turner's work is also amazing. The piece he did on the Glue Kids in Brazil was powerful. Melodie McDaniel is another photographer whos work had inspired me (her earlier work like the images featured in the film Love Jones).
