Casper Banjo Great printmaker RIP

Casper Banjo was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1937. He presently resides in Oakland, California, where he is active in community and cultural activities. He was an assistant teacher after obtaining an AA degree at Laney College. He also received a BFA degree and his MFA degree from the San Francisco Art Institute, where he subsequently taught. Stephen Wiltshire was born in London to West Indian parents on 24th April, 1974. His mother, Geneva Wiltshire had come from St Lucia and his father, Colvin, from Barbados. Colvin was killed in a motorcycle accident when Stephen was three years of age. His sister, Annette, is two years older than her brother. He lives with his mother in West London. Dr. John Biggers, an internationally acclaimed painter, sculptor, teacher and philosopher, was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on April 13, 1924.
