Is that cocky? I hope it isn't because I do not wish to be cocky or conceited. I get so caught up in the daily grind of "I have to do this, I gotta do that, I forgot to do that" it can be really draining and discouraging at times. Especially, when you don't see immediate results. I really appreciate when I have time to sit (or make time rather) and look at my past creations before the race is off and running again. I just took time to look at some photos I took last year. I love them! I can tell that I was in my zone when I created them.
They inspire me.
Last Sunday I shot all day. I was a great day! I love taking photographs and experimenting with new techniques. It has taken me quite some time to get back to that. It is hard creating your vision in the midst of another's. Though their idea maybe wonderful you have to stay in the confines of their idea. Veering out of the box to far can lead to rejection... who wants that? I certainly don't. There are some cases where collaboration is effortless a couple or group combine to create... period. Yet, there are collaborations that are out of habit because you kinda fit a missing piece. So far my art has seen a better day in that I feel more open to creating and just being me. I appreciate this time and look forward to more exchanges and growth. But I mean it... I am an inspiration. I accept it and I am grateful for it!
