Re-Opening Celebration of Eastern Market
Greetings,
I would like to inform you that I did pass through and stayed for a while at the Re-Opening of Eastern Market that took place today. I did not make the ribbon cutting ceremony that took place yesterday. I am sadden by the eviction of the owners and workers of the Market 5 Gallery. Despite that, I think the celebration that took place today was awesome and there were a wide variety of musicians and other entertainers.
Some of the regular vendors that were orginally there before the eviction were still around. There was a combination with the newcomers blended with the old. I hope that the events that takes place now, will be similar the one that occured today.
